The Ithaca College Choir ensemble is a world renowned group who represent the most exceptional talent that roams the halls of the James J. Whalen Center for Music at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. The group has been hit hard by the pandemic, operating in a remote status through the end of the Spring 2020 semester and fully throughout the Fall 2020 semester. The group was able to begin rehearsing and performing for the Spring 2021 semester, but in a much different capacity than ever before. The group is utilizing a hybrid style of learning that includes in-person, small group and online rehearsals. They have also been able to have multiple concerts with extremely limited capacities, but were still live-streamed for people to watch from all over the country.

The interviewees provided an honest perspective of what performing choral music was like during the Covid-19 global pandemic, and truly persevered in making sure that choral music is not forgotten about and still beloved by many when the world is able to return to a state of normalcy.

This was the setup that the concert and much of the interviews were filmed on. The Canon Rebel T6 was a life saver due to quick turnarounds with filming, and the Hang Onn tripod held its own with the filming process.
